Consumer Energy Unleashed: Mapping Australia’s CER/DER priorities

Energy Catalyst developed the Consumer Energy Unleashed analysis for the RACE for 2030 Cooperative Research Centre. The study examined how the full customer, societal and system value of millions of consumer and distributed energy resources (CER/DER) can be unleashed as an integral part of Australia’s future power systems.

We mapped 182 Australian CER/DER studies, trials and demonstration projects against a new end-to-end taxonomy of the power system: 6 themes, 15 domains and 61 research topics. This interactive dashboard lets you explore that analysis, see where research is concentrated and where the gaps are, and go straight to the underlying project reports.
